Embedding a table

Wikispaces offers only a very basic table capability
The column width is determined by the characters/ width of text and cannot be set in any other way
Having said that it does offer good basic functionality.
The glossary on the TELT wiki demonstrates the table in use.

In EDIT mode click on the table icon in the toolbar.
Enter your desired number of columns and rows.
Additional rows/column can be added (or deleted) using the table tool accessible by clicking on a cell.

HINT: you can trick the column width by inserting white characters into a cell ;)

ALTERNATIVE: Embedding a Google Docs Spreadsheet

It is possible to embed a spreadsheet constructed in Google Docs into your page.
While you cannot edit it in wikispaces it does offer far greater sophistication of formatting etc if required.
See Spreadsheet page for instructions
